This involves an oral health assessment and diagnosis and a clean. Upon inspecting your teeth, we will inform you of what is required in protecting your mouth including regular brushing and flossing, dietary advice, the use of a splint for those prone to grinding at night and protection from gum or periodontal disease.

We encourage you and your family to have regular check ups and cleans as early diagnosis of oral problems leads to treatment that are neither costly or difficult.

A painful tooth which can include sensitivity to hot and cold, swelling in the surrounding gum tissue and pain on biting or application of pressure is often a common sign of an inflamed tooth infected with bacteria.  When this arises, Root Canal Therapy or Endodontic treatment is required.  This is a complex procedure where the infected pulp of the tooth is removed and then sterialised and cleaned.  It is then sealed with a white filling to prevent any further infection.

We cater for people of all ages including children, teenagers, adults and the elderly.  As  a modern, family dental practice our services include:

If you are unhappy with your smile, it is always worth discussing the matter with your dentist.  Often, simple solutions can be found that can make a big difference to how you feel about your smile.  We can correct stained, chipped or gappy teeth with whitening procedures, white bonded fillings and porcelain veneers.

For damaged and missing teeth, crowns or bridges may be the best option.  When a tooth is damaged either through injury, grinding or decay to the point where it cannot be supported by a large filling, it will need a crown to cap over the damaged tooth.  The crown protects the damaged tooth and restore it to its original function as well as giving your smile a natural look.

A bridge is necessary when more than one tooth needs to be replaced.  Acting much like a bridge, a dental bridge connects the space between the teeth.  Bridges can restore your smile, restore the ability to properly chew and speak as well as preventing the remaining teeth from drifting out of position.
